Fellows Survival Guide

The Fellows Survival Guide (FSG) was created for the benefit of future Fellows in response to an extra credit assignment for ENGL 301H. The 2005-2006 Fellows who worked on the FSG saw that the wisdom attained through the current Fellows program should be made accessible to all future Fellows. The FSG was made in the Wiki format on the English Departments Moodle webpage. The FSG homepage contains several categories with links leading to additional information concerning each category found below:

Discipline Specific Hints:
Fellows in the physical and life sciences often have added difficulties due to extremely long hours in the lab, setbacks, and unfamiliarity with standard non-scientific writing. For Science Disciplines is the link within this section that allows students in the sciences to obtain advice on how to keep a good lab journal, and how to deal with major research setbacks. This section will be extremely important to science Fellows who find their research is not going as well as planned.
